Where Can I Take My Food Scraps and Yard Debris?

Casella dropping off food scraps at the new facility

Intervale Compost Products is going through some exciting changes this year, the biggest of which is our recent move from our old site in Burlington’s Intervale to our new facility called Green Mountain Compost on Redmond Road in Williston. We are now open for sales and material drop-off at the new facility, so come on by and check out the new digs!  You can still bring your food scraps and yard debris (for free!) to any of the CSWD drop-off centers located throughout Chittenden County. Visit CSWD Drop Off Centers for more information.

While we are certainly going to miss our long-time home and friends at the Intervale, we are at the same time very excited about the new facility. The recipe won’t be changing, nor has our great staff, but we are excited about a whole new way of making compost using less energy and creating a drier finished product.
