How to Compost Anywhere
You can make wonderful compost at home, at work and at school. If you don’t have the time or the space, you can drop your compost off at any CSWD Drop-Off Center or at our facility, and we will do the work for you. You can even compost your meat, bones and soiled paper at our facility. Composting anywhere is possible, and we are here to help!
Fortunately for us, the microbes that do the bulk of the composting work aren’t too picky about what goes into the compost. Of course, we can’t compost everything. Find the full list of what we can compost here.
Drop-off composting is an easy way for you to keep valuable food scraps from being wasted in a landfill. Just separate compostable kitchen scraps, paper towels and other food-soiled paper from your regular household trash and bring them to a CSWD Drop-Off Center or to Green Mountain Compost. All CSWD Drop-Off Centers participate in this program!
